Mini Twofer Tartlettes

These delicious mini tartlets are the perfect holiday food gift. Enjoy the combination of buttery crust, sweet apple butter, and crunchy toasted almonds.

Ingredients

8 tart shells
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
2 tablespoons melted butter
1/2 cup apple butter
1/2 cup chopped toasted almonds

Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a medium bowl, mix together the sugar, cinnamon, ginger, and cardamom.
Brush the tart shells with melted butter; then sprinkle the sugar mixture into each shell.
Spread a tablespoon of apple butter into each shell.
Top with chopped toasted almonds.
Bake for about 15 minutes or until the crust is golden brown. Cool before serving.
