Do you know about the College Inn Ultimate Recipe Challenge Contest? There’s still time before the contest ends so why not check it out?! This The Facebook contest will launch September 10th and will go through October 28th . The grand prize winner will win a $5,000 cash prize and a three day trip to San Francisco for two to attend a charity dinner with Amanda Freitag.
Amanda Freitag, recently put a twist on a beef stew and mashed potato recipe passed down from her father, where she incorporated College Inn broth to help enhance the flavor profile of the dish. What favorite family recipes that have been passed down for generations do you have where you can put a twist on those recipes incorporating College Inn broth?
The Baron and I collaborated in creating the following dinner menu and we incorporated some College Inn Bold Stock I received, compliments of College Inn. The dinner menu was inspired by a dish The Baron had with his family growing up – Hamburger Steaks:
We used College Inn Broth in the Blue Cheese Hamburger Steaks recipe and instead of water, we boiled the macaroni in chicken broth for the Classic Mac & Cheese recipe. What can you come up with for this contest?! Check out College Inn Broth on Facebook for more details and start cooking!
