Working from home has allowed me to have more variety in breakfast options. This has been especially true, now that my work volume has been much more manageable. As a result, I’ve been having fun with puff pastry to replicate some delicious bakery treats I miss.
This recipe using puff pastry to make turnovers filled with strawberry filling. You can use your choice of either canned or homemade pie filling. I missed out on strawberry picking this year so I went with a canned version to save time. We’ve also made this with apple and pumpkin pie filling during the fall months last year!
Air Fryer Strawberry Turnovers
INGREDIENTS
1 Can Strawberry Pie filling
Icing (optional)
3. Place one tablespoonful of strawberry filling on the corner of each square. Note – a lot goes a long way!
4. Fold into a triangle shape & press edges together with a fork.
5. Spray tops with cooking spray. Place in the air fryer and fry for 15 minutes at 350 degrees.
6. Remove from air fryer. Drizzle with a glaze is desired.
