Grilled Liempo

This recipe will give you a juicy and flavorful grilled liempo every time. It’s easy to prepare and will surely be a crowd favorite!

Ingredients

1 kg pork liempo, sliced into about 5 cm thick strips
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon dried oregano

Instructions

In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, vegetable oil, garlic powder, pepper, and oregano. Mix until the sugar and spices are well combined.
Add the pork liempo and mix until all the pieces are evenly coated with the marinade.
Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
Pre-heat the grill to high heat and make sure to lightly grease the grills.
Grill the pork liempo for about 7 minutes each side, flipping at least once or twice for even cooking.
Once the pork liempo is cooked through and slightly charred, remove from heat.
Serve with rice or your favorite side dish and enjoy!

Notes

You can adjust the seasoning according to your taste preference.
For best results, marinate overnight.
