Ingredients
1 lb. ground pork
1 tsp. minced garlic
1 small white onion, chopped
2 stalks lemongrass, chopped
1/4 cup oyster sauce
1/4 cup fish sauce
1tbsp. sugar
1tbsp. garlic chili paste
1tbsp. freshly ground pepper
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
1/4 cup fresh mint leaves
1/4 cup vegetable oil
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine ground pork, minced garlic, onion, and lemongrass.
In a separate small bowl, whisk together oyster sauce, fish sauce, sugar, garlic chili paste, and pepper.
Heat vegetable oil in a large wok or skillet over medium-high heat.
Add pork mixture to the hot oil and cook for 6–7 minutes, stirring often, until pork has browned.
Stir in oyster sauce mixture and cook for another 5–10 minutes, or until pork has cooked through.
Add cilantro, mint, and additional salt and pepper, if desired.
Cook for a few minutes until herbs are fragrant.
Remove from heat and serve with steamed jasmine rice.
Notes
Add some cooked vegetables for a heartier dish!
