Delicious Bow Tie Pasta Recipe

  • Bow tie pasta – 1 cup uncooked
  • Olive oil – 2.25 tsps
  • Butter – 1.5 tsp
  • All-purpose flour – 1.5 tsp
  • Minced garlic – 0.5 tsp
  • Red pepper flakes (crushed) – One dash
  • Salt – One dash
  • Dried basil – One dash
  • Chicken broth – 2 tbsps
  • Water – 1 tbsp
  • 2% milk – 3 tbsps
  • Sour cream – 1 tbsp
  • Grated parmesan cheese – 2 tbsps


  1. Take a large pot and fill it with salted water. Boil the pasta in the pot until it is soft to chew.
  2. Place a medium skillet or pan on your stove and pour oil on it while keeping the heat on low.
  3. Add softened butter to the pan and allow it to melt.
  4. Put the flour into the skillet with melted butter and mix the ingredients using a plastic spatula.
  5. Add salt and crushed minced garlic to the pan and stir again using the spatula.
  6. Place dried basil and red chili flakes in the mixture and stir again.
  7. Now add milk, water, and chicken broth to the pan.
  8. Stir the ingredients and let them reach a mild boil.
  9. Add sour cream to the mixture and stir again.
  10. Finally, add parmesan cheese and boiled pasta to the skillet.
  11. Mix the pasta properly in the sauce and let it cook for a few minutes on the stove.
