Lake Tahoe Awaits!

Today my husband and I took a winter vacation to Lake Tahoe with our friends, Kim & Scott. It was the first time for us to visit Tahoe and we loved it!
Lake Tahoe is a freshwater lake in the Sierra Nevada, located where the borders of the California and Nevada bend. Approximately two-thirds of the shoreline is in California. The area, referred to as Tahoe, is full of ski resorts and summer outdoor recreation. We stayed in Kings Beach, which is an area of Tahoe located in the northern California side of the lake. It was a beautiful place close to a few ski resorts and a short drive to Reno, and neighboring towns like Truckee and Incline Village.

If you ever get the chance, do visit Lake Tahoe. We enjoyed our visit and loved being surrounded by nature, far away from the daily stresses.
