S’mores Brownies

Delicious and chocolaty brownies with a s’mores topping – graham crackers, milk chocolate, and mini marshmallows.

Ingredients

1 box of brownie mix and required ingredients
56 full size graham crackers
1 cup of miniature marshmallows
1 bar of milk chocolate, broken into small pieces

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Prepare brownie mix according to package directions.
3. Spread half of the batter into a 9×13 pan.
4. In a medium bowl, break graham crackers into 1 inch pieces and toss with miniature marshmallows and milk chocolate. Set s’mores mixture aside.
5. Bake brownies for 15 minutes in preheated oven.
6. Remove brownies from oven and sprinkle the s’mores goodies over the top.
7. Bake for an additional 15-20 min or until brownies begin to pull away from the sides of the pan.

Notes

Serve warm with a scoop of ice cream or a drizzle of fresh cream.
For a more intense s’mores flavor, add 1/2 tsp of ground cinnamon to the s’mores topping.
For extra crunchy s’mores topping, sprinkle a tablespoon of chopped pecans over the s’mores layer before baking.
