We’re coming down to the home stretch of our Holiday Cookie Countdown! For Day 10, I’m featuring one more easy peasy cookie thanks to the of my friends and Krusteaz. One of the most favorite combination my husband loves is chocolate and peanut butter together. With that in mind, this cookie is perfect for him and all the other chocolate and peanut butter fans out there! Rich and creamy peanut butter cookie dough mashes up with a special chocolate chip cookie dough to create the perfect marriage of these classic favors..
Cookie Day 10: Peanut Butter Chocolate Chunk Cookies
I can’t rave enough about Krusteaz baking mixes and their cookie mixes are especially a favorite this time of year. With the various cookie swaps and edible gifts I tend to make, their mixes save me time yet allow me to throw in my own creative touches. For these cookies, I took a combination of two of their cookie mixes – Double Peanut Butter Cookie Mix and Triple Chocolate Chunk Cookie Mix – for a perfect match. It’s just a matter of preparing both mixes per the direction and combining both into one delicious cookie. Feel free to add nuts or even chopped peanut butter chocolate cups for something more special! And instead of making cookies, you can also prepare this in bar form by baking in a 9×13 pan for 22-24 minutes.
