German Pasta Salad Recipe

A delicious and easy German pasta salad perfect for parties, potlucks, or a quick lunch at home.

Ingredients

1 package (250g) pasta, cooked according to package directions
1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
1/4 cup shalots, chopped
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
1/4 cup pickles, chopped
2 tablespoons capers, drained
1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons mustard
1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Cook the pasta according to package directions. Once cooked, rinse the pasta under cold water then drain and set aside.
In a large bowl, mix together the cherry tomatoes, shalots, parsley, pickles, and capers.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, mustard, and white wine vinegar, until well blended.
Add the drained cooked pasta to the tomato mixture. Then pour the mayonnaise mixture over the top and stir to combine.
Season to taste with salt and pepper. Refrigerate for at least an hour before serving to allow the flavors to develop.

Notes

You can substitute the pickles for chopped cucumber.
Add cooked bacon for even more flavor!
